ALA is featured in the Ahmanson Foundation's Annual Report
January 29, 2010
The Ahmanson Foundation featured ALA as a "Grant in Focus" in its Annual Report for 2008, released in the summer of 2009. The whimsical narrative tells of our organization's story through the perspective of both new and long time residents of our El Greco property. The piece offers a thoughtful tribute to Janet Witkin, ALA's founder and president for thirty years. It highlights the essence of ALA's programs and speaks of the organization's social relevance today. We have included an abridged version of the Annual Report for convenient viewing.
For access to the Ahmanson Foundation's full report, including reports of other grantees, please visit the foundation's website.
